Q: When I do a backup to CD, the backup will fail.
A: The CD that you are backing up to could be full. Try a different CD.
Often centers re-use the same CD over and over to backup their data. Eventually this CD will become full, when the CD is full, the system will display an error showing the file that it tried to write to the CD last.
Computer Score recommends that you do not backup to the same CD each time and that you backup weekly at the very minimum. Computer Score recommends that you purchase new CDs on a regular basis.
CDs are slowly being phased out of the market and Computer Score no longer recommends using CDs. USB Drive or External Hard Drives are new technology and should be considered when backing up data on a regular basis. They are also much larger in capacity, but the same error could also happen if you try to backup to a full drive.

We installed Matrix in August 2003 and absolutely love the league secretary. I like that the system uses monitors as opposed to televisions and that one computer takes care of every six lanes....that saves on space. I also like the idea that we can make our own commercials. - Randy Williams, Owner Lincoln Lanes in Boonville, Illinois.
